The Wealden Show will take place at All Saints Crowborough on Friday 11th & Saturday 12th April 2008.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with all sorts of jobs - from Cake Making to being an angel! (Yes you are all angels but you could be a quilt angel for a few hours!) If you would like to help in any way please Email Lynette.

The challenge has been set so get your thinking caps on - remember it is a fun challenge and we would love to see more entries.

The Wealden Challenge 2008

Theme: As 2008 is the year of the Beijing Olympics, the challenge will be ‘Impressions of the Orient'. The wall hanging can be anything relating to the Orient.

Size: Between 30” and 39” square.

Technique: Any technique can be used.

Embellishments: Any may be added – e.g. buttons, beads, ribbons, threads.

Price: £4 per entry

Entry Forms: either down load from front page, or collect from The Quilt Box, Polegate, or The Pumpkin Patch Hailsham.

Judged on: Presentation/design and not technique

Judged by: A group of three neutral gentlemen.
