The 2006 show raised a grand total of £1000 which was shared equally between Wealden Talking News and Talking Newspaper Association UK. The cheques were presented to the 2 groups on Wednesday 28th June 2006 at The Quilt Box. The picture below shows the group photo following the presentation.

The Visitor's Choice at the 2006 show was a very close run contest. The Winner was Rachel Branum and the runner up Thess Hollick.

The Challenge at the 2006 show was 'Something Beginning with P.....' there were 27 entries. The entries were judged by three neutral gentlemen. The winner was C25 Poppies by Pauline Herod and the runner up was C18 Poppies by Shirley Tankard.
